Job summary

SP Industries Inc. is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in New Jersey to support customers across NJ, NY, PA, MD, DE and other locations as needed.

This remote, field-based role requires approximately 90% travel including overnights, with autonomy to diagnose and repair high-end scientific equipment. You should be an HVAC or refrigeration technician/engineer ready to move beyond basic service calls, solving complex issues, reading schematics, and ensuring equipment performance in diverse

Qualifications

• AAS in electrical, mechanical, or related field or equivalent experience.
• EPA Refrigeration Card required or obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Familiarity with PLC controls including ladder logic.
• Knowledge of test equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, test and validate SP equipment in the field.
• Supervise or perform field installation and testing of equipment.
• Provide customer technical support via phone, online or in person.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors as needed.
