Job summary

SP Industries Inc. an ATS company, is hiring a Field Service Engineer based in New Jersey to support customers across NJ, NY, PA, MD, DE, and other locations as needed. This remote, field-based role requires approximately 90% travel, including overnight stays.

Qualifications

• HVAC or refrigeration technician/engineer with field experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment is required.
• Ability to install, calibrate, and commission equipment at customer sites.
• Able to coordinate/perform field installation and testing of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites with high autonomy to service, maintain, repair, test, and calibrate equipment.
• Provide customer technical support via phone, online, or in the field and coordinate internal support.
• Supervise field installation and testing of equipment.
• Maintain broad equipment, process, and manufacturing knowledge for SP Scientific Equipment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and troubleshoot various models of SP equipment.
