Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a part-time fractional HR Director to guide a remote, multi-state workforce. You will bring independent, high-level HR expertise with meaningful organizational impact and advise leadership on best practices for distributed teams.

Responsibilities include advising on state-specific compliance, handling accommodations and leave requests, and escalating sensitive issues to corporate counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience, including Director-level responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of employment law fundamentals, especially FMLA and accommodations.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Flexible engagement of up to 10 hours per month.
• Fully remote work arrangement.
• Autonomy to manage HR initiatives within a fractional consulting structure.

Responsibilities

• Advise leadership on HR best practices for distributed teams and state-specific compliance.
• Consult with employees on accommodations, leave requests, and other personnel matters.
