Job summary

Anexus CFO seeks an experienced Fractional Controller for an oil and gas midstream client. The role is remote, part-time, and focused on accurate reporting, tight controls, and scalable processes.

You will work with CFOs, owners, lenders, and auditors while maintaining governance across client engagements. The ideal candidate brings midstream knowledge, strong accounting discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in oil and gas midstream accounting and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, close processes, and financial statements.
• Proven ability to model budgets, forecasts and cash flow for capital-intensive operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GL, monthly close, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting.
• Develop and refine accounting processes for midstream assets and pipelines.
• Support budgeting/forecasting, governance, and audit readiness with stakeholders.
• Communicate with founders, executives and investors to address risks and opportunities.
