Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting function across its multi-entity oil & gas portfolio. The role ensures a timely close, data integrity, and strong internal controls while overseeing US GAAP and IFRS reporting and external audits.

Ideal candidates will have CPA certification, an upstream oil & gas background, and hands-on experience with Quorum ODA, advanced Excel, and AI-enabled workflows. International entities and multi-currency operations are involved.

Responsibilities

• Own the close process across multi-entity structure, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain data integrity, ledgers, consolidations, and intercompany entries.
• Lead external audits and manage financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Provide leadership in oil & gas accounting, including revenue, JIBs, and COPAS terms.
• Oversee international currency transactions and multi-currency consolidation.
