CesiumAstro is building leading-edge hardware for satellites and aerospace systems. We seek an FPGA Engineer I to contribute to FPGA circuits, HDL development, verification, and deployment through full development cycles.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, lab instrumentation, and collaboration in a startup-like environment, with opportunities to impact space-grade hardware development.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with FPGA design and verification at HDL level (Verilog/VHDL).
• Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators).

Responsibilities

• Develop FPGA circuits and systems through all development phases.
• Test, validate, and verify FPGA designs; apply DSP concepts where applicable.
