Job summary

CesiumAstro in Colorado is seeking an FPGA Engineer II to join a startup-like hardware team developing FPGA circuits for satellites and aerospace systems. You will contribute to FPGA design, verification, test, and deployment at the HDL level, with high‑speed interfaces, multiple clocks, and DSP elements.

The role requires 2+ years of industry FPGA experience, plus proficiency in Verilog/VHDL, Xilinx Vivado, and using lab equipment; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 2 years FPGA HDL design experience.
• Verilog/VHDL proficiency.
• Xilinx Vivado and ModelSim experience.
• Lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities
