Job summary

CS Group USA seeks an FPGA Development Engineer with real-time embedded systems experience to lead requirements, design and development of safety-critical airborne systems. The role supports DO-254 objectives and verification activities.

This position can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote, with collaboration across hardware, software, verification, and certification teams. U.S. Citizenship is required; travel up to two weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of FPGA, programmable logic, digital hardware, or embedded systems experience.
• Understanding of embedded hardware architectures, VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog, and Python.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end FPGA development for embedded aerospace systems from concept to integration.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.
• Ensure artifacts meet DO-254 and AC 20-152A objectives with traceability.
• Interface between hardware and FPGA, and between software and FPGA.
• Support schedules and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
