Job summary

CS Group USA is seeking an entry-level FPGA Verification Engineer to join our aerospace verification team. The role focuses on real-time embedded FPGA verification in DO-254 contexts, using simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and test benches to validate complex safety-critical systems.

The successful candidate will implement verification strategies aligned with DO-254 lifecycles, collaborate with engineers and project leaders, and travel up to two weeks per year. Onsite in CT or hybrid, U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and DO-254 objectives.
• Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog or similar languages.
• Python and other scripting languages; strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication; U.S. Citizenship required; travel up to 2 weeks/yr.

Responsibilities

• Perform verification activities for embedded FPGA aerospace systems with artifact review and test development.
• Collaborate with team members and project leadership.
• Ensure FPGA verification artifacts meet DO-254 and AC 20-152A objectives.
• Work with simulation, integration, target hardware, and HIL environments.
• Maintain traceability and align hardware design with device requirements.
• Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings.
• Support schedules and quality objectives; communicate status to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt quickly.
