Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Digital Electrical Engineer II to design and develop next-gen CCAs and FPGA-based solutions. You’ll work on gigabit interfaces, RF/EO DSP, embedded controllers, and processor interfaces in an agile, cross-functional team.

Role spans from architectural concepts to hardware integration and production release, with expectations for a Master’s degree and DoD Secret clearance. Onsite in Tucson.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in EE/CE or STEM field, by start date.
• Experience or coursework in digital electronics, circuit design, or HDL coding.
• Experience with test equipment for circuit characterization and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations.
• Model digital algorithms, partition functions, and write reliable embedded code.
• Select components, capture schematics, simulate circuits, and collaborate on layout.
• Integrate and validate hardware in lab with advanced test instruments against requirements.
• Maintain design docs, reports, and configuration management through lifecycle.
• Support activities from customer requirements to formal production release.
