RTX is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer II for its Tucson, AZ site to design and develop next-generation circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGA-based solutions using AMD, Altera, and Microchip architectures. You will contribute across the full lifecycle—from architecture concepts and algorithm modeling to hardware integration and production release.

Formación

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field, must be obtained by start date.
• Experience or coursework with Digital Electronics, Circuit Design/Analysis, Digital Design, or HDL coding for configurable logic devices.
• Experience using test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or digital multimeters) for characterization, debugging and validation.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations targeting configurable logic devices.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high-reliability code for embedded processing systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on physical layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a laboratory environment using advanced test instrumentation against rigorous system requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation, technical reports, and configuration management artifacts throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support engineering activities from initial customer requirement definition through formal production release.
