Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer I to design and develop circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGA-based solutions for mission-critical applications. You’ll collaborate with systems, mechanical, and software engineering teams throughout the full product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field (must be obtained by start date).
• Experience or coursework in Digital Electronics, Circuit Design/Analysis, Digital Design, or HDL coding targeting configurable logic devices.
• Experience using common electronic test equipment for circuit characterization, debugging, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations.
• Model digital algorithms and write high-reliability code for embedded processing systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on layout and routing.
