RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Digital Electrical Engineer II to design and develop next-generation circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and FPGA-based solutions. You will work with architectures including AMD, Altera, and Microchip, delivering across gigabit interfaces, RF/EO DSP, embedded controllers, and processor interfaces.

You will collaborate with systems, mechanical, and software teams in an agile environment through the full lifecycle from concept to production release, and you will maintain

Formación

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field, degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience or coursework with Digital Electronics, Circuit Design or Analysis, Digital Design, or HDL coding targeting configurable logic devices.
• Experience using common electronic test and measurement equipment (such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or digital multimeters) for circuit characterization, debugging, and validation.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and verify digital architecture, circuit card designs, and FPGA implementations targeting configurable logic devices.
• Model digital algorithms, partition design functions, and write high-reliability code for embedded processing systems.
• Perform component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulation, and collaborate on physical layout and routing.
• Integrate and validate hardware designs in a laboratory environment using advanced test instrumentation against rigorous system requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation, technical reports, and configuration management artifacts throughout the product lifecycle.
• Support engineering activities from initial customer requirement definition through formal production release.
