Job summary

RTX is seeking an FPGA Design Engineer II in Tucson, AZ to develop FPGA designs for major vendors using VHDL and Verilog. You'll work with cross-functional teams on requirements, architecture, and verification from concept to production.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of related experience, with an active DoD Secret clearance candidate preferred. Onsite work with relocation assistance and a 9/80 schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with VHDL and/or Verilog coding.
• Experience with Xilinx or Microsemi devices and flow tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver FPGA releases from proof of concept to production.
• Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and CONOPS.
• Translate system requirements into FPGA requirements.
• Code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability.
• Verify designs with directed and constrained random tests and coverage.
• Create design documentation including verification plans.
