RTX is seeking an FPGA design engineer focused on RTL-based FPGA development for DoD-grade systems in a highly collaborative, onsite environment. The role emphasizes requirements capture, RTL implementation, and verifying FPGA cores within complex aerospace and defense platforms.

Qualified candidates typically hold a STEM degree and have experience with RTL languages; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance are required. Relocation eligibility is noted by RTX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience or familiarity with RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, team with engineers of a variety of skills and backgrounds, and matrix into projects with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
