Job summary

NCD is seeking a Manager, FP&A to own the budget, forecast, and the models behind them. You will work directly with the CFO and leaders who run sales, product, and operations. This is a hands-on role where you build and run models and dive into data to find answers.

Finance at NCD uses AI tools to speed planning and improve accuracy, and you will help move reporting from spreadsheets to dashboards while ensuring timely, accurate analysis for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or quantitative field.
• 5+ years FP&A, investment banking, or Big 4 advisory.
• Advanced Excel modeling: three-statement, driver-based forecasts.
• GAAP knowledge linking drivers to P&L/balance sheet/cash flow.
• SQL or BI tools for direct data access.
• Clear written communication to explain variances to executives.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget and monthly/quarterly reforecast.
• Produce monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance analysis with commentary.
• Build and maintain P&Ls by carrier program, product line, and distribution channel.
• Model carrier and distributor economics, including commissions and reserves.
• Build cash flow and liquidity forecast, and prepare lender reporting packages.
• Analyze new products, distributor agreements, and acquisitions: pricing, unit economics, payback, scenarios.
• Collaborate with Data team to define metrics and move reporting to dashboards.
• Use AI tools to speed up recurring finance work.
• Work with Accounting on close timing and accruals, and reconcile forecast to GL.
• Document models and processes for audit readiness.
