Job summary

NCD is seeking a Director, FP&A to build and lead the planning function, owning budget, forecast, and long-range plans. You’ll partner with the CFO on capital planning and lender reporting, while shaping a scalable FP&A team and AI-enabled processes.

You will design driver-based models, manage P&Ls by carrier and product, and lead monthly reviews with the executive team, delivering actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a finance/quantitative field.
• 8+ years of FP&A or related experience including at least 3 years leading FP&A at an operating company.
• Proven ability to build or scale FP&A processes and planning calendars.
• Expert financial modeling, including three-statement models and debt.
• Experience presenting to executives, lenders, or investors.
• Experience managing and developing analysts.
• Data fluency with SQL and reliable metric definitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual operating plan, rolling forecast, and three-year plan.
• Design scalable FP&A processes with clear ownership and version control.
• Own driver-based models and P&Ls by carrier, product line, and distribution channel.
• Run monthly business reviews with the executive team and drive actions.
• Own cash, liquidity, and debt capacity forecasting; prepare lender reporting.
• Evaluate new products, carrier programs, and acquisitions with business cases.
• Partner with Data/BI to set metrics, data priorities, and modeling boundaries.
• Define how FP&A uses AI to automate data pulls, reconciliations, and narratives.
• Select and implement planning tools when needed.
• Hire, develop, and manage FP&A analysts.
• Support annual audits, valuations, and owner reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
