Job summary

Markem-Imaje is seeking an FP&A Manager and Controller in Orange County, CA, to lead financial analysis, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and pricing reviews for a Fortune 500 manufacturing entity.

The successful candidate will oversee SOX compliance, internal controls, and a team of accounting professionals, ensuring US GAAP adherence and accurate reporting across the business.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and auditing.
• Manufacturing costing experience.
• Proficiency with ERP and BI systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, forecasts, and results.
• Lead month-end close, approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Drive budgeting and annual pricing processes.
• Develop financial models; perform ad hoc analyses for commercial, ops, and engineering teams.
