Job summary

OK International, a Dover Company, in Orange County, CA, seeks an FP&A Manager and Controller to lead financial analysis, reporting, and month-end close within a Fortune 500 context.

The role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, SOX compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and strong ERP/BI proficiency; you will supervise the accounting team and coordinate with operations, engineering, and commercial teams to drive performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close experience.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and auditing.
• Solid manufacturing costing experience.
• Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word; MS Access is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP and BI systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Lead month-end close; approve journals and reconciliations.
• Track and report key metrics; provide insights to drive performance.
• Lead annual budgeting and pricing reviews.
• Create financial models; conduct ad hoc analyses.
• Act as ERP/BI power user.
• Supervise accounting staff.
• Manage outsourced AP/AR, credit, and close.
• Drive KPIs like DPO, DSO, AR aging improvements.
• Approve master data, credit limits, and credits.
• Oversee SOX compliance and internal audits.
• Ensure adherence to US GAAP and tax rules.
• Oversee related IT systems and processes.
• Lead accounting-related projects and improvements.
• Handle special assignments.
