Job summary

Destaco in Orange County, CA seeks an FP&A Manager and Controller to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for a manufacturing business within a Fortune 500 company. This role oversees month-end close, SOX, ERP/BI systems, and a cross-functional accounting team.

You will build financial models, drive budgeting and forecasting, monitor KPIs, and partner with operations and engineering to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and auditing.
• Solid manufacturing costing experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, including results and forecasts.
• Lead the month-end close, approve entries and reconciliations.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and annual pricing analyses.
• Develop financial models to support commercial, operational, and engineering teams.
• Oversee SOX compliance, internal audits, and remediation tracking.
• Supervise staff and outsourced AP/AR teams; monitor KPIs like DPO/DSO.
