Job summary

EY is seeking an FP&A Data & Analytics Assistant Director to transform how financial and operational insights are delivered. You will partner with Finance, data architects and engineering teams to develop data and AI-enabled solutions that improve decision-making and business value.

The role focuses on modernizing FP&A data capabilities using Fabric, Azure Databricks and emerging AI platforms, shaping analytics strategies, and delivering scalable data architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
• 5-7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence or related disciplines
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics solutions
• Experience leading or supporting enterprise data, analytics and reporting initiatives
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes and SQL
• Hands-on experience developing or delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration, modeling, testing, monitoring and production support
• Experience managing data projects and coordinating delivery across technical and business teams
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights that support strategic business decisions
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching or coordinating team members and delivery resources
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
• Design and deliver analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and measurable business value
• Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned products, platforms or capabilities, providing guidance to both business and technical teams
• Lead stakeholder discussions to evaluate requirements, define priorities and align solution delivery with business objectives
• Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines supporting the extraction, transformation and integration of data from multiple sources
• Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to develop scalable and sustainable data architectures
• Optimize data platforms and storage solutions to improve performance, reliability and cost efficiency
• Present recommendations, roadmap updates and strategic insights to business leaders and stakeholders
• Coordinate with offshore development resources, supporting delivery, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote the adoption of analytics, AI and modern data practices across the organization
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve data and analytics capabilities
