Job summary

EY is seeking an FP&A Data & Analytics Assistant Director in the US to transform how financial and operational insights are delivered. You will partner with Finance, data architects and engineers to develop AI-enabled analytics solutions that improve decision-making and drive measurable value.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related field or relevant experience.
5-7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence or related disciplines.
Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
Experience leading or supporting enterprise data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes and SQL.
Hands-on experience developing or delivering enterprise data and analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
Strong knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration, modeling, testing, monitoring and production support.
Experience managing data projects and coordinating delivery across technical and business teams.
Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights that support strategic business decisions.
Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring, coaching or coordinating team members and delivery resources.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
Design and deliver analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and measurable business value.
Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned products, platforms or capabilities, providing guidance to both business and technical teams.
Lead stakeholder discussions to evaluate requirements, define priorities and align solution delivery with business objectives.
Oversee the design and implementation of data pipelines supporting the extraction, transformation and integration of data from multiple sources.
Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to develop scalable and sustainable data architectures.
Optimize data platforms and storage solutions to improve performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
Present recommendations, roadmap updates and strategic insights to business leaders and stakeholders.
Coordinate with offshore development resources, supporting delivery, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote the adoption of analytics, AI and modern data practices across the organization.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to improve data and analytics capabilities.
