Job summary

EY is seeking an FP&A Data & Analytics Assistant Director to lead modern FP&A data capabilities, partnering with Finance, data architects and engineering to deliver AI-enabled solutions that drive timely, accurate insights.

The role focuses on designing scalable data architectures, leveraging Azure Databricks and Fabric, and guiding analytics strategy across the enterprise. You will influence strategic outcomes and mentor delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, IS, CS or Data Science.
• 5–7+ years in data engineering, analytics or BI.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Experience leading or supporting enterprise data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience managing data projects across teams.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets to support strategic decisions.
• Leadership experience mentoring or coordinating delivery resources.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Design and deliver analytics solutions providing actionable insights and value.
• Serve as SME for products, platforms or capabilities to both business and tech teams.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to define priorities and align with objectives.
• Oversee data pipelines for multi-source data extraction, transformation and integration.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineering to build scalable data architectures.
• Optimize data platforms for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Present recommendations and roadmaps to business leaders.
• Coordinate with offshore resources to support delivery and continuous improvement.
• Promote analytics, AI and modern data practices across the organization.
