Job summary

EY is seeking an FP&A Data & Analytics Assistant Director to transform how financial and operational insights are delivered. You will partner with Finance, data architects and engineering teams to develop data, analytics and AI-enabled solutions that improve decision-making and business value.

This role leads the evolution of modern FP&A capabilities using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and emerging AI platforms, shaping analytics strategy and scalable data solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5-7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, BI or related disciplines.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Experience leading or supporting enterprise data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration, modeling, testing, monitoring and production support.
• Experience managing data projects and coordinating delivery across technical and business teams.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights for strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring or coordinating team resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and stakeholders to understand business challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Design and deliver analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and measurable value.
• Serve as SME for products/platforms, guiding business and technical teams.
• Lead discussions to define priorities and align delivery with business objectives.
• Oversee data pipelines from multiple sources for ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineering to develop scalable data architectures.
• Optimize data platforms for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Present recommendations and strategic insights to leaders and stakeholders.
