Job summary

EY is seeking an FP&A Data & Analytics Assistant Director to transform how financial and operational insights are delivered. You will partner with Finance and tech teams to develop data, analytics and AI-enabled solutions that drive performance and measurable business value.

The role leads the evolution of FP&A data capabilities using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks, shaping analytics strategies and scalable data solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics or BI.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Experience leading or supporting enterprise data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration, modeling, testing, monitoring and production support.
• Experience managing data projects and coordinating delivery across teams.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive insights for strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring or coordinating delivery resources.
• Strong verbal and written communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Design and deliver analytics solutions with actionable insights and measurable business value.
• Serve as an SME for products or platforms, guiding both business and tech teams.
• Lead discussions to define priorities and align delivery with business objectives.
• Oversee data pipelines for extraction, transformation and integration from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineers to create scalable data architectures.
• Optimize data platforms for performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Present recommendations and roadmaps to business leaders.
• Coordinate with offshore resources to support delivery and knowledge sharing.
• Promote analytics, AI and modern data practices across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities.
