Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a Planning and Analysis professional to own expense forecasts, consolidate reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. You will partner with business unit owners to provide actionable financial insights and drive improvements across capital projects and operating budgets.

The role emphasizes building Power BI dashboards, performing variance analysis, and contributing to long-range financial planning. Strong Excel and SQL skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in financial services, FP&A or similar.
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
• Intermediate/advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• SQL, Power BI, and/or Microsoft Fabric skills are a plus.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Own expense forecasts for assigned business units and prepare monthly reports.
• Create consolidated views for variance analysis and management reviews.
• Maintain relationships with business unit owners and provide insights into financial activity.
• Update monthly capital project forecasts and perform variance analysis.
• Assist in monthly earnings/forecast reports, budgets, and long-range planning.
• Design and develop Power BI reports and executive dashboards.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses to identify trends and opportunities.
