Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an FP&A professional to own expense forecasts, build consolidated reporting, and deliver monthly financials to owners and investors. You will collaborate with various business units to analyze variances and support strategic decisions.

The role requires 1–3 years of FP&A experience, strong Excel/Power BI skills, and the ability to work with confidential data. Denver, CO-based, with non-traditional hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in FP&A or financial services; energy industry a plus.
• Fundamental understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
• Advanced MS Office; Excel, Word, PowerPoint; good analytical skills.
• Experience with SQL databases, Power BI, and similar analytics tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and forecast expenses for assigned business units; produce monthly reports for owners and investors.
• Develop consolidated reporting views to support variance analysis and reviews.
• Maintain relationships with business unit owners and provide insights on financial activity.
• Update capital project forecasts and perform variance analysis with Project Accounting/Controls.
• Assist with monthly earnings and forecast, annual budgets, and long-range planning.
