Job summary

Visual Edge IT is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team and transform financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

You will collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, IT, and other leaders to develop models, analyze performance, and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. This role emphasizes analysis beyond basic reporting and offers a clear path for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, business analytics, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• Strong financial analysis, financial modeling, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
• Experience with large datasets and BI tools; MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial and operational analysis to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and the key drivers behind business performance.
• Develop financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, and other analytical tools to support strategic and operational decision‑making.
• Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple systems and translate information into actionable business insights.
• Build and maintain KPI dashboards, management reporting packages, and analytical tools that improve visibility into business performance.
• Partner with business leaders to understand operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Leverage Business Intelligence tools and reporting platforms to expand analytical capabilities and improve how leaders access and use information.
• Present financial findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to Finance, business leadership, and other stakeholders.
• Support executive, Board, and lender reporting requirements with accurate, meaningful, and timely analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analysis, streamline processes, and improve the efficiency and quality of financial information.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Proactively identify business risks and opportunities and help translate findings into actions that improve performance.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Accounting, Operations, Sales, IT, and other functions to serve as a trusted analytical partner to the business.
