Job summary

Tallgrass seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis professional in Lakewood, CO to own expense forecasts, consolidate reports, and provide insights to business-unit owners. You will update capital forecasts, assist with budgets and long-range planning, and build Power BI dashboards for KPI tracking.

The role requires 1–3 years in FP&A or financial services, a Bachelor’s in finance or accounting, and strong Excel/Power BI skills. Expect collaborative work in a fast-paced energy sector environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in financial services, FP&A or related, energy industry a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• MS Office applications including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• SQL, Power BI, and/or Microsoft Fabric skills a plus; Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own expense forecasts for assigned business units; create monthly financial reports.
• Build consolidated reporting views to support variance analysis and reviews.
• Maintain relationships with business unit owners; provide insights into activity.
• Update monthly capital project forecasts and perform variance analysis.
• Assist with annual budgets, long-range plan, and zero-based budgeting.
• Create databases to track cost reporting and provide insights to management.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards surfacing KPIs and trends.
• Analyze ad hoc data to identify trends, variances and opportunities.
• Own and assist with system enhancements to support forecasting and budgeting.
