Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer to join our Texas-based foundry team on a hands-on shop floor role. You will develop and manage foundry processes, drive quality, and lead improvement projects with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years in foundry operations, expertise in process control, and CAD design experience. You will work closely with operations to ensure cost-effective manufacturing and adherence to aerospace-grade quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a foundry environment focusing on process capabilities and control.
• Experience in project management within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage foundry processes to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality.
• Use process capabilities and process control to monitor manufacturing integrity.
• Design and implement rigging and fixture designs to improve operations.
• Oversee project management from inception to completion.
