Jobot is seeking a Metallurgical Engineer for a hands-on, floor-level role in Texas. The position focuses on developing and improving foundry processes, ensuring quality control, and leading projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
5+ years in a foundry environment with focus on process capabilities and control.
Experience in project management and CAD design.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage foundry processes to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Monitor process capabilities and control to maintain process integrity.
Design and implement rigging and fixture solutions for operations.
Oversee project planning, coordination, and execution from inception to completion.
Collaborate to troubleshoot foundry issues and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure health and safety compliance in all foundry activities.
Conduct audits and inspections to maintain equipment and processes.
Provide technical guidance to the foundry team and foster learning.
Stay current with industry trends and apply best practices.
