Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead technical design for Palantir Foundry applications, drive architecture decisions, and promote scalable, secure solutions. You will mentor engineers, set patterns, and align delivery with business goals.

You will guide data modeling, integration, and deployment patterns across projects, review complex designs, and serve as a technical escalation point. Travel<10% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years relevant experience required; 8+ years preferred.
• Experience developing enterprise applications, workflows, integrations, or platform-based solutions preferred.
• Experience providing technical direction for complex application engineering efforts preferred.
• Experience reviewing technical designs, mentoring engineers, and improving engineering practices preferred.
• Experience with Palantir Foundry preferred.
• Agentic development experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Travel: This position requires <10% travel.

Responsibilities

• Technical Direction and Solution Leadership: Lead technical design for Palantir applications, workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Engineering Standards and Patterns: Establish reusable engineering patterns, coding practices, testing expectations, documentation standards, and support models for Foundry-based applications.
• Foundry Platform Enablement: Guide use of Foundry capabilities across teams for consistency.
• Design Reviews and Quality Oversight: Review complex designs, identify risks, and ensure long-term support.
• Mentorship and Team Development: Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineers.
• Cross-Project Technical Planning: Identify dependencies and align delivery with priorities.
• Production Support and Technical Escalation: Serve as escalation point and lead root-cause analysis.
• Client Service and Communication: Communicate options, risks, and tradeoffs clearly.
