Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Foundry Engineering Lead to act as the technical authority for the company’s Foundry platform. You will lead the design, governance, and evolution of the data platform that underpins internal operations and customer-facing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on Palantir Foundry experience including ontology modelling and pipeline development.
• Proven leadership in data engineering with mentoring and standards definition.
• Strong Python and Spark/PySpark experience for large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of Foundry implementation for scalability and data integrity.
• Define the technical strategy for Foundry development aligned with data roadmap.
• Act as technical authority on Foundry across the organisation and drive architectural decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best practices in data modelling and pipeline development.
• Mentor engineers and analysts to raise technical capability and quality.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Define data models, schemas, and ontologies to support workflows.
• Codify data lineage, governance, and data quality checks.
