Job summary

Emerson’s Urick Foundry in Erie, PA, seeks a Director of Foundry Operations to lead site strategy with full P&L responsibility. You will guide manufacturing, sales, customer service, engineering, finance, and supply chain to achieve world-class safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction.

You will champion a multi-year strategic plan, drive continuous improvement, and align operations with growth goals for RIDGID and global customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, engineering, or technical sales.
• Strong business acumen with understanding of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams and organizational change.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels of an organization.
• Track record of driving safety performance and accountability in teams.
• Ability to lead in a unionized environment, including negotiations and labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Establish and execute a multi-year strategy aligning Urick’s capabilities with customer needs and growth goals.
• Monitor market trends, capacity needs, and technologies to support future demand.
• Oversee full P&L, budgets, and forecasts; drive profitability and asset utilization.
• Grow third-party sales through targeted strategies aligned with Urick’s strengths.
• Promote safety culture and oversee casting production including melting, molding, core making, finishing, and maintenance.
• Lead capital planning to modernize equipment and improve reliability.
• Build relationships with Ridge Tool and external trade customers; provide responsive technical support.
