Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Engineering for our Columbia, PA foundry. This leader will guide all engineering, process development, and technical operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment, driving productivity, safety, and product integrity across casting and machining.

You will mentor teams, set engineering standards, partner with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain, and lead capital projects and technology adoption to sustain long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in heavy industrial manufacturing, foundry a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership managing technical teams.
• Strong understanding of casting processes and metallurgy.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering strategy and operations to enable operational excellence.
• Oversee foundry process optimization across melting, molding, and finishing.
• Direct tooling design and NPI from concept to production.
• Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and CI across the plant.
• Ensure safety, quality, and ISO/AS compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Commercial teams.
