Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Foundry Manager to lead all foundry operations, including molding, core making, and finishing. You will drive productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, industry knowledge, and a hands-on approach to manage staff, coordinate with departments, and continuously improve processes to meet targets and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a foundry, preferably in a managerial role.
• Experience in molding, core making, finishing, safety, quality, production and cost control.
• Knowledge of foundry processes and equipment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Degree in Engineering or Industrial Management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the foundry operations, including molding, core making, and finishing.
• Develop and implement plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure safety standards and a healthy work environment.
• Monitor production processes and adjust to meet targets.
• Implement cost controls to operate within budget.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
• Train and mentor foundry staff and foster a productive team.
• Coordinate with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Resolve issues and take corrective actions as needed.
