Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Director of Manufacturing (Foundry/Metals) for a multi-facility operation. This permanent leadership role oversees all operations, drives productivity, quality, and compliance across four shifts and about sixty hourly employees, with a strong base salary plus a meaningful annual bonus and potential relocation support.

The interview process is streamlined: initial conversation with the general manager, follow-up with the vice president, and a final round with leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior operations role within manufacturing.
• Proven strategic planning and business development experience.
• Track record of managing complex manufacturing ops and driving excellence.
• Strong leadership, communication, and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate operations of all manufacturing departments to meet deadlines and cost targets.
• Develop and implement strategic operational goals; monitor and adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency, quality and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless production flow and timely delivery.
• Develop and manage the operations budget for cost-effective resource use.
• Lead, mentor and develop the operations team for high performance.
• Implement and maintain quality control programs meeting customer expectations.
• Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to ensure material/equipment supply.
• Regularly report performance to senior management with insights and recommendations.
