Jobot is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations in a multi-facility heavy metals foundry environment. You will oversee all manufacturing departments, drive productivity, quality and cost targets, and lead a ~60-person operation across four shifts. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for senior leadership.
• 5+ years in a senior operations role within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the operations of all manufacturing departments to ensure production meets deadlines, standards and cost targets.
• Develop and implement strategic operational goals and monitor achievement, adjusting processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency, quality and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production workflow and timely product delivery.
• Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective resource use.
• Lead, mentor and develop the operations team, promoting high performance.
• Implement and maintain quality control programs meeting customer expectations.
• Evaluate and manage vendor relationships for reliable materials and equipment supply.
• Regularly report performance to senior management with insights and recommendations.
