Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Director of Manufacturing (Foundry/Metals) to lead multiple manufacturing departments across a four-shift, multi-facility operation. The role offers a strong base with a meaningful annual bonus and relocation support for the right candidate.

The director will drive productivity, quality, and efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance and safe operations in a heavy manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the operations of all manufacturing departments to ensure production meets the required deadlines, standards and cost targets.
• Develop and implement strategic operational goals and monitor the achievement of these goals, making necessary adjustments to processes and strategies as needed.
• Ensure that all manufacturing processes and operations comply with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations and standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless production workflow and timely product delivery.
• Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain quality control programs, ensuring products meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Evaluate and manage vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply of necessary materials and equipment.
• Regularly report on operational performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

Master’s degree preferred
