Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Cary, IL seeks a Casting Operator to set up and run casting machines, prepare molds, and monitor processes to ensure high-quality metal parts. You will inspect castings, record production data, and maintain a safe, organized workstation.

A high school diploma is required; prior foundry or manufacturing experience is preferred, with training provided for newcomers. Sign-on bonus and multiple shifts available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

A day in the life in Cary, ILPicture starting your shift in a modern foundry where precision meets craft. You review the production schedule, set up your casting machine, and prep molds and cores so they’re clean, defect-free, and ready for molten metal. As pours begin, you monitor the process closely—adjusting parameters to keep quality tight and output consistent. Finished castings move to inspection, where you check dimensions against drawings, confirm surface integrity, and make tweaks when needed. Throughout the day you keep your area orderly and safe, collaborate with teammates to solve issues quickly, and document the runs you complete so production data stays spot-on.$1,000 Sign On Bonus offered for active employment.
