Job summary

ATEK Metal Technologies in New Hampton, IA is seeking a hard-working Foundry Production Operator for full-time shifts. You will be involved in melting, molding, core making, finishing, and quality inspection to ensure parts meet spec. Qualifications

Job Details: Job Location: ATEK Metal Technologies - New Hampton, IA 50659, Position Type: Full Time, Foundry Production Operator | Full-Time | 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available

Every part we ship starts as raw aluminum and ends up as a precision casting trusted by industries that can't afford to get it wrong. In between, it passes through the hands of melters, molders, core operators, finishers, set-up techs, and quality/final inspectors — and that's exactly where you come in!

We're hiring for our Production and Quality teams, and this posting covers all of it. You don't need to know yet which seat fits you best — once you're in the building, we'll help you find it. WHERE YOU COULD FIT

• Melting & Molding — Melt and pour aluminum to spec, or run low-pressure/gravity-pour molding equipment.
• Core Making — Build, dip, and assemble cores for every casting we pour.
• Finishing / Post-Processing — Knockout, saw, bench, CNC, leak test, heat treat, and straightening to bring parts to final spec.
• Set-Up & Tooling — Tooling, spraying, and machine set-up (fork truck certification available).
• Quality/Final Inspection — Catch defects, run CMM/X-ray equipment, and coach quality standards on the floor.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Heads up: this is genuine foundry work. You'll have regular exposure to heat, dust, fumes, and noise, and PPE is required at all times. If you like staying active and don't mind getting your hands dirty doing work that matters, you'll feel right at home.
