Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate induction furnaces, casting equipment, and other foundry machinery.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and goals are met.
• Inspect cast products for quality and identify defects.
• Clean, inspect, and maintain production equipment.
• Transport materials using cranes and forklifts (training provided).
• Complete production records and maintain documentation.
• Follow safety procedures around molten metal and high-temperature equipment.

Job Title: Foundry Operator
Location: Glens Falls, NY
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Over Time may be required)
Pay: $24.50 - $25/hour

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, mechanical equipment, and working as part of a team in an industrial manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate induction furnaces, casting equipment, and other foundry machinery.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and production goals are met.
• Inspect cast products for quality and identify any defects or irregularities.
• Clean, inspect, and perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Safely transport raw materials and finished products using overhead cranes and forklifts (training provided as needed).
• Accurately complete production records and maintain required documentation.
• Follow established safety procedures while working around molten metal and high‑temperature equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support daily production objectives.
