Job summary

F2 is hiring a Founding Technical Recruiter in San Francisco to build the technical recruiting function. You’ll own searches end-to-end and partner with engineering leadership to shape processes as we scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience hiring technical talent.
• Track record of sourcing and hiring exceptional software engineers.
• Strong technical sourcing skills and ability to identify great candidates beyond obvious profiles.
• Comfortable recruiting passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
• Strong judgment and ability to calibrate quickly with hiring managers.
• Excellent candidate management and closing skills.
• Experience partnering with engineering leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-moving environment.
• High ownership, low ego, and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Excited to work in person with the team in New York.

Responsibilities

• Own technical searches end-to-end across Engineering and other technical functions.
• Build pipelines of passive engineering talent.
• Develop talent maps across target companies, technical backgrounds, and geographies.
• Partner closely with engineering leadership to define profiles and calibrate on talent.
• Source and engage highly sought-after candidates through thoughtful, personalized outreach.
• Run a high-quality candidate process from first conversation through offer and close.
• Develop a strong understanding of F2's technology, product, and engineering culture and communicate that story effectively to candidates.
• Help hiring managers build structured interview processes and scorecards.
• Use recruiting data and pipeline metrics to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring velocity.
• Maintain an exceptional candidate experience while operating with speed.
• Help improve our recruiting systems, processes, and tools as we scale.
