Job summary

Avivo in Saint Cloud, MN seeks a Team Lead, Resident Advocates to spearhead the launch of Avivo Village Central Minnesota. You will lead front-line staff, conduct resident intakes, and help create a safe, welcoming path toward housing stability for participants.

The role emphasizes leadership, coaching, and crisis response within a Housing First framework, with a 32-hour full-time schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years of direct services in housing, homelessness, or related field.
• Minimum of one year of leadership/mentoring/supervisory experience.
• Experience serving individuals facing homelessness or behavioral health challenges.
• Experience with culturally responsive, trauma-informed services.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay calm and make decisions during crises.
• Experience using electronic health records and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide work direction to Resident Advocates during assigned shifts.
• Coach, train, and support staff to foster accountability and teamwork.
• Conduct resident intakes and complete eligibility and admission paperwork.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and person-centered environment for residents and staff.
• Respond to participant concerns and crises using de-escalation skills.
• Support admissions, transitions, and day-to-day shelter operations.
• Maintain accurate participant records and housing documentation.
