Job summary

Mintive in the San Francisco Bay Area is hiring our first Sales Engineer to own the technical sale. You’ll partner with AEs from first demo through POC to close, lead technical discovery, design the POC, and answer how our MCP gateway would deploy in a customer environment.

You’ll be hands-on, build integrations, support deployments, and communicate ROI to both engineers and executives. This in-person role includes travel to meet customers as Mintive scales, with equity and competitive

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sales engineering or related roles.
• Experience selling complex technical products (infrastructure, security, dev tools).
• Background in software engineering or related field (CS, math, physics).
• Hands-on technical; able to build custom integration and run a POC.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sale from first demo to close with AEs.
• Lead technical discovery, run demos, design POC, answer deployment questions.
• May stay involved post-signature to help get customers live and support setup.
• Voice of the customer to product and engineering; push for needed features.
• Help shape SE function growth, onboarding, and playbooks; travel to meet customers.
