Job summary

Teleskope in New York City is hiring a Recruiting Lead to own full life-cycle recruiting across Engineering, GTM, and G&A. You’ll build pipelines, design interview processes, and partner with hiring managers to scale the team during a critical growth phase.

As the first dedicated recruiter, you’ll shape the strategy, tooling, and candidate experience, driving speed without compromising quality while reinforcing a people-first culture and Teleskope’s mission.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience across Engineering, G&A, and GTM functions.
• Prior experience in a high-growth startup that scaled quickly.
• Ability to coach junior recruiters even without formal management title.
• Strong outbound sourcing skills for hard-to-fill roles in competitive markets.
• Experience building or improving recruiting processes and tooling; not just operating within an existing one.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; tailor style for engineers, operators, and sales leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own full life-cycle recruiting for roles across Engineering, G&A, and GTM functions.
• Build and execute sourcing strategies to attract top talent and maintain strong pipelines.
• Partner with hiring managers to define and run best-in-class interview processes and interviewer training.
• Build scalable processes, tools, AI-powered workflows, and reporting for smarter hiring.
• Lead structured debriefs, align stakeholders, and ensure timely, well-evaluated hiring decisions.
• Champion Teleskope’s mission and culture, delivering a compelling candidate experience and showing impact to top talent.
• Own recruiting metrics and pipeline visibility to identify bottlenecks and improve hiring velocity.
