Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures is hiring its first dedicated recruiting lead to own talent acquisition end to end across engineering, product, sales and customer success.

As a remote role within the United States, you will build the recruiting foundation, set up ATS and AI-powered workflows, and partner with leadership to move candidates efficiently.

You will attract top technical talent for an early-stage B2B fintech, shaping the company's employer brand and candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience, with a mix of agency and in-house work.
• A strong track record hiring engineers and other technical talent.
• Experience recruiting at an early-stage startup, from seed through Series B, including for a company with limited brand recognition.
• Experience as a solo, full-cycle recruiter across technical and non-technical roles.
• Regular use of AI tools for sourcing, outreach, research, and recruiting operations.
• Familiarity with tools such as Juicebox, Metaview, Ashby, Greenhouse, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Set up the recruiting stack, including applicant tracking, sourcing tools, AI-enabled workflows, and outreach sequencing.
• Source and engage passive candidates, especially for engineering and sales roles, with thoughtful outreach that converts into first conversations.
• Screen candidates carefully and present hiring managers with people who meet the role's bar.
• Partner with company leadership and hiring managers to calibrate profiles, gather feedback, and keep candidates moving through the pipeline.
• Build employer-brand content and messaging that helps candidates understand the company's work and opportunity.
