Job summary

Taxwire is hiring its first recruiter to own how we find, close, and land exceptional people across engineering, GTM, tax, and operations. You’ll scope roles, build processes, and own outcomes that accelerate growth while partnering with the CEO and hiring managers.

You’ll design interview loops, own the candidate experience, and drive offers to close. This role demands persistence, credibility, and writing-first communication in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of recruiting with full-cycle ownership.
• Track record of closing senior or technical hires in a competitive market.
• Strong written communication; writing-focused outreach.
• Ability to design processes and systems from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across engineering, GTM, deployments, and account management: source, screen, close.
• Run persistent outbound to senior people who aren’t looking and are hard to reach.
• Partner with CEO and hiring managers to scope each role before it opens: duties, ideal profile, success metrics.
• Design the interview loop and scorecard for each role, and calibrate interviewers.
• Own the candidate experience from first message to signed offer; ensure clear next steps.
• Drive offers to close; manage compensation conversations and competing offers.
• Stand up systems: ATS hygiene, structured interviews, sourcing playbooks, and scalable funnel.
• Maintain high standards when filling fast to protect Taxwire’s quality.
