Job summary

Runway seeks its first Developer Relations Lead to build a creative developer community around the Runway API, including content, demos, and events. You will gather developer feedback to influence product direction while driving adoption and engagement across the Runway Dev user base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in developer relations or similar, with AI/ML focus preferred.
• Strong familiarity with generative video and image models.
• Ability to build programs and communities from scratch in a startup.
• Proven track record of driving developer API adoption and engagement.
• Experience producing developer-facing content across formats (docs, demos, videos).
• Deep enthusiasm for generative AI and staying ahead of trends.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality tutorials, demos, sample repos, and technical walkthroughs.
• Own social and X content strategy for the developer audience.
• Lead regular developer communications, newsletters, changelogs, and office hours.
• Prototype creative content meeting developers where they are.
• Lead hackathons, sponsorships, and developer events end-to-end.
• Represent Runway at conferences, meetups, and online communities.
• Surface developer sentiment and market signals to product teams.
• Track and report developer funnel metrics and API engagement.
