Job summary

Timber Health is hiring a founding Lead Health & Wellness Coach to shape our holistic coaching program from the ground up, including consultation frameworks, tools, documentation, and quality standards. You’ll design the program, author materials, and orient a network of contractor coaches, while also delivering consultations as needed.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll own coaching end-to-end, shaping how coaching works at Timber Health and reporting KPIs to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Active health and wellness coaching credential meeting one of three pathways.
• 5+ years of health and wellness coaching experience, including D2C, cash-pay.
• 2+ years in a lead, supervisory, or program-management capacity over coaches.
• Experience building coaching programs, curricula, or service-delivery documentation.
• Working command of behavior change: goal setting, motivational interviewing, stage-appropriate coaching.
• Strong written documentation skills and a bias toward process and standards.
• Comfort defining metrics, reading a dashboard, and reporting to an executive audience.
• Ability to maintain a private, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace.

Responsibilities

• Design and document Timber Health's holistic coaching program, including tools and documentation.
• Draft tools, templates, and SOPs coaches use in service delivery.
• Build and orient a network of contractor coaches.
• Conduct quality reviews of documentation, scope adherence, and handoffs.
• Partner with Customer Support to resolve coaching-related issues.
• Define and track coaching KPIs and report to executive leadership.
• Conduct virtual wellness coaching consultations as needed.
